Millennium Mortgage has begun production out of its Fayetteville offices with hopes of carving its own niche in the residential market in Northwest Arkansas.

The company is under the direction of CEO Ben Israel, President of Mortgage Lending Sherry Burks, and her husband, Vice President of Operations Michael Burks. It is located at 3715 N. Business Drive, Suite 201, at Commerce Park at the intersection of Joyce Boulevard and Old Missouri Road.

Michael Burks said sisters Isura and Irama Roldan, each bilingual, are helping the company at the Spanish Mercantile facility in Springdale’s Signature Square. They will help the Hispanic community get financing through Millennium.

For now, Millennium is strictly residential, but Michael Burks said Millennium is in the process of getting investors signed up for commercial lending.

“We are offering some niche products that some banks don’t offer, such as 100 percent financing,” he said. “All they have to do is pay closing. We also have zero down, 3 percent down and 5 percent down programs.”

Sherry Burks has been in the lending business for the last five years. This is the second mortgage company she’s helped launch. She has also been a branch manager for Countrywide Homes and a loan officer for the Bank of Arkansas.
