A.G. Russell Knives is planning to open a new museum early in 2004. The museum is expected to include some of company founder A.G. Russell’s early knife designs, drawings and other memorabilia about the nationally known company that started in Springdale 39 years ago.

A.G. Russell officials said the museum will likely open within the company’s new facility on Interstate 540 in Lowell, but plans are to eventually build a separate museum next door.
