Golf Takes a Mulligan
At least two officers from Golf Entertainment Inc. of Springdale appear to have started a new business at 100 E. Emma Ave.
Jim Bolt, chief financial officer of Golf, and John Dodge, the company’s general counsel, have leased a 7,500-SF space from Tom Stephens and are doing business as Atlantic Digital.
Bolt and Dodge could not be reached for comment, but Stephens said Atlantic Digital is “a reprographics or graphic design firm.”
An Aug. 19 report by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal detailed questionable business dealings by Golf.
The penny stock broadcasting company was on Sept. 10 ordered by the Arkansas Securities Department to “cease and desist” trading in the state. An appeal of that order failed.
Golf faced eviction proceedings before it moved out of its old headquarters at 1008 Clayton St. in Springdale. Cypress Investments Inc., Golf’s former landlord, will seek more than $10,000 in “damages” at a Dec. 17 hearing. The damages are said to be for delinquent rent and legal expenses.
Golf is also still embroiled in at least two other lawsuits.
