Business Matters Loses Reporters

Over the past two months, two of the five reporters for Northwest Arkansas Business Matters left their jobs, and another will leave shortly.

Business Matters is the local business section of the Sunday Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Gone are Joel Kirkland and Beth Finzer. Sarah Courteau is scheduled to leave in mid August.

The newspaper has hired one replacement so far, Nell Smith.

Cristal Cody is now the senior reporter on staff. She has been there for two years. Dan Zehr, the section’s other writer, began working there last year.
