Tyson Foods Inc. Promotes Wilson in International Duties

M.L. “Butch” Wilson Jr. has assumed duties as the new senior vice president for sales and marketing with Tyson Foods Inc. International Group.

The promotion was announced by Greg Huett, president of Tyson Foods’ International Group.

Wilson has been with Tyson Foods since 1996, joining initially as head of the company’s Hawaii sales office. He helped expand Tyson’s presence in the Pacific islands. His most recent duties included Tyson Foods’ sales in Japan and Korea.

Wilson has a BS from Florida State University in management and finance and an MBA from the University of Hawaii in management and marketing.

Wilson is now at Tyson Foods’ headquarters in Springdale, where he has relocated with his wife, Barbara.
