Bishop, Walker: What?s the Difference?

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal published a two-page advertisement for its Business of the Year Awards in the April 16 issue and referred to Alice Bishop as “Alice Walker.”
Alice Bishop is manager of the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville and winner last year of our Business Executive of the Year Award. Alice Walker is an African-American author who wrote “The Color Purple” and 22 other books.
Although there are similarities between the two women, we’ll try to differentiate between them in the future.
