Trinity Temple Assembly of God in Fayetteville on Aug. 23 secured a $500,000 loan from First National Bank of Springdale for a large, multi-purpose building.

Construction began in September on the 17,000-SF facility that will include a gymnasium, a community kitchen, classrooms and a youth sanctuary. Trinity Temple is hoping the building will be complete in about six months. The new gymnasium will also double as a fellowship hall.

Located on Rolling Hills Drive in north Fayetteville, Trinity Temple has about 400 people in its congregation and has outgrown its existing buildings. The original building was built in 1965 with a smaller second building coming around in 1973. Those two buildings total 22,787 SF.
