Golf Course Condos to Line SCC Layout

Upscale condominiums are planned for the new nine holes at Springdale Country Club.

Gary Brandon Enterprises on Aug. 8 secured a loan of $1.28 million from Springdale Bank & Trust Co. to purchase 21 acres for the first phase of the project.

The Churchill Crescent subdivision will have 26 condominiums lined along the No. 9 fairway at SCC, across U.S. Highway 71 Business from the clubhouse. The first phase is under way with reconstruction of existing utilities. Brandon said there was a potential for future additional condominiums, but that the success of the first phase will dictate further construction.

The condos will be priced between $195,000 and $240,000 and will range from 1,800 to 2,350 SF. Each condo will have its own golf cart garage.

What is now the front nine at SCC was completed in 1997.
