Mooty Hired as Associate Editor

Kyle Mooty has been named associate editor of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.

Mooty, a native of Marion, Ala., has 20 years of media experience. He has worked in five states (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Alabama), as publisher of two magazines, editor of another magazine, editor of a weekly newspaper and sports editor of four daily newspapers.

Mooty has also written for MSNBC on-line, The Sporting News and is a member of the Alabama Song Writers Association. He has worked for three radio stations, hosting a daily talk show and calling play-by-play for sporting events.

Mooty is also awaiting the publication of his first book through Black Belt Publishing of Montgomery, Ala.
