Quiet Cajun Connection Operates in Fayetteville

Quietly operating on the fringe of Fayetteville’s catering industry is Lyn D’s Cajun Gypsy.
Lyn DeFelice – a native of Lake Charles, La., in the heart of Cajun country – opened the catering service this past January in a small building at 535 W. Poplar St. in Fayetteville.
Lyn D’s has become popular with the University of Arkansas lately, catering several events on campus. We hear her shrimp Creole is a hit on the hill.
Lyn D’s also provides take-out meals and delivery (no seating in the small building on Poplar). The business is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Usually, Lyn D’s serves one entree per day, cooked up in huge batches.
