CARMLS, Yes, It’s Back
We hear that a new real estate multiple-listing service provider, MLSToday.com, has caught on in Texas, Florida and Missouri. Could this be the solution for Northwest Arkansas’ beleaguered multi-list users?
Apparently the new system is both user- friendly and cost efficient (about $9 per month). We bumped around the site and found it simple to navigate.
Local Realtors, and pro-CARMLS ones at that, tell us MLSToday.com could replace Moore Data and CARMLS and be the solution for the Rogers Board of Realtors’ multi-list headaches.
Currently Rogers is using both CARMLS – the Cooperative Arkansas Realtors Multiple Listing Services Inc. of Little Rock – and Financial Business Systems for its computer listing needs. The duplicate coverage is a product of a year-long debate over which service is the easiest to use.
Earlier this year the Rogers board pulled out of the Northwest Arkansas MLS LLC, which linked listings from Fay-etteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville and Bella Vista, after its members voted for FBS.
Our biggest concern is that the MLSToday.com system won’t come with instructions telling users how to turn their computers on.
