Aladdin Gets Four Wishes
Gary Clay and Glenda Edwards must have found a genie in a bottle.
The respective owner and principal broker of Aladdin Realtors at 3403 W. Walnut Ave. in Rogers., Clay and Edwards have hired away four million-dollar producers from Northwest Arkansas competitors to give their year-old agency a total of 13 agents.
In June, Aladdin got Sylvia Hise, Mike Mycka and Elizabeth Hines-Cable from Hines Realtors in Rogers. On July 7, John DeBuss left Fayetteville’s Century 21 Cupit Street Realtors for Aladdin. We called to see if Aladdin was gearing up for a major market push, and let’s just say the folks there didn’t say, “No.”
Hise, now Aladdin’s executive managing broker, left Harris McHaney Shearin Realtors of Rogers only March 15 to become Hine’s executive managing broker.
Hise is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute and is an Accredited Buyer Representative. Mycka and Hines-Cable, both now associate Realtors, followed Hise from the Hines agency. Their departure followed Greg Hines’ leapfrog to The Simmons Group agency in Rogers and meant the end of the agency.
DeBuss was No. 76 on the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 1999 list of top real estate agents listing and selling $2.6 million worth of property in 1998. Even Edwards is somewhat new. She came to Aladdin from Cooper Communities at the beginning of the year.
Aladdin has broker, commercial and property management divisions.
