Hayden McIlroy, a trustee of McIlroy Investments LLC of Dallas, spent $1.2 million remodeling the former John W. Cole clothing store building on the Fay-etteville square.

McIlroy received a loan for the project on March 29 from the Bank of Fay-etteville. The property includes a basement and first floor totaling 10,952 SF of retail/office space and a top floor totaling around 5,900 SF of residential space.

The building was most recently appraised for $183,100 in 1997, but McIlroy completely redid both the building’s interior and its facade.

Pace Industries Inc. currently leases office space on the building’s first floor.
