Steve and Saundra Cooksey opened their convenience store expecting to carry the usual convenience store merchandise. Some grocery items, deli sandwiches and gasoline are the staple items carried by most stores. Supplies for building race cars never made the initial inventory list.

However, when Steve Cooksey began stocking a few parts for race cars, customers started making special orders immediately. Mostly dirt track racers shop in the store, but the Cookseys regularly order specific parts for patrons.

The store employs the couple and two other staff members, but they all stay busy ringing up sales, making sandwiches and helping customers find the right part.
