In Good Hynes

Stephens Inc.’s Private Client Group is venturing out of Little Rock with a new office in Fayetteville. Tim Hynes has been named branch manager to lead that effort.

Hynes, who’s worked at Merrill Lynch for the past four years, has a history with Stephens Inc. He previously managed the investment division of Worthen Bank in Fayetteville. Stephens, of course, had a large interest in Worthen Bank.

Although Stephens has always handled investments for individuals as well as for institutions, public perception hasn’t always seemed to be aware of that. In recent months, Stephens has begun marketing its Private Client Group more prominently, and the Fayetteville office is its first outside the capital city.
