Paul Hale, a Rogers area building contractor, started Ozark Clean Team in December to offer a high-pressure cleaning service for Northwest Arkansas businesses and residences.

Hale says his equipment allows him to use both high pressure and high temperatures for effective and efficient cleaning. His service includes service stations, restaurants, metal buildings, homes, decks and sidewalks.

He explains that the combination of high water pressure and high temperatures removes dirt and grease. For normal cleaning jobs, he says, there are no chemicals involved, making the cleaning operation environmentally safe. However, Hale says, he does use a chemical formula when mildew is a problem. Mildew, he notes, is often a problem where there is not enough sunlight striking a structure.

Hale says his equipment is very effective in cleaning sidewalks and decks and can leave them looking new. His cleaning system is also very good for cleaning buildings in need of repainting, Hale says. He explains that the high-pressure washing removes chipped paint, thus reducing the number of hours a painter would ordinarily need for scraping a building. Hale’s cleaning process leaves a clean surface to receive the paint.

When working for local businesses, Hale says, he often works late nights when the businesses are closed to the public. A cleaning job takes between two to five hours to complete.

“I try to give a customer more than contracted.” he says. “Doing more than people expect is a good way of building business.”
