Kisor’s Cafe and Bakery opened April 6 in the Harvey and Bernice Jones Center for Families in Springdale.

The eatery is the third opened by Bill Kisor of Rogers. He owns two Kisor’s Grill and Bakery restaurants – in Fayetteville and Rogers.

Kisor’s Cafe takes over the spot vacated in late March by Spring Street Grill Express, which was operated by the Spring Street Grill of Springdale. The previous tenant offered few meals for the kids who go to the Jones Center for various activities, says Max Moore, manager of Kisor’s Cafe. Moore says Jones Center administrators approached Bill Kisor about opening the cafe.

Kisor’s Cafe has a “walk-up” counter in the food court area, Moore says. The eatery is much smaller than Kisor’s two full-service restaurants.

Kisor’s Cafe serves sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, pizza and desserts. Lunch prices range from $3 to $6. The eatery is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition to serving as the only restaurant in the Jones Center, Kisor’s also took over the center’s catering business.

“The main reason we’re here is to do the catering,” Moore says. “We’ve been here for two weeks, and we’ve done several large caterings. There are so many business meetings here.”
