Christian Brothers Automotive, a vehicle repair franchise, recently opened a roughly 5,000-square-foot shop on more than 1 acre at 5285 Members Lane between Sam’s Club and Interstate 49 in Springdale.

The company typically invests between $4 million and $5 million in the real estate purchase, site development, and the building, which includes a waiting room and nine mechanical bays. The new shop is owned and operated by Michael and Heather Fridge, who also own a Fayetteville location.

“Opening our second shop is an exciting opportunity to continue serving Northwest Arkansas and expand the level of care and service our team is known for,” Michael Fridge said. “Our goal is to provide guests with an automotive experience built on transparency and genuine care. We’re grateful for the trust we’ve earned in Fayetteville and look forward to building those same relationships with families and drivers throughout the Springdale community.”

The Springdale shop provides comprehensive automotive care from simple upkeep and preventative maintenance to in-depth diagnostics and major repairs. Each service includes a complimentary inspection that provides guests with a view of their vehicle’s condition through technician-captured photos and videos, helping them make decisions about their automotive care. Amenities include a nationwide, three-year, 36,000-mile warranty, whichever occurs last; complimentary round-trip shuttle rides; free Wi-Fi; and beverages.

The shop has seven full-time employees with plans to grow. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.

“Michael and Heather have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving guests with integrity and excellence, making them outstanding representatives of the Christian Brothers Automotive brand,” said Donnie Carr, president and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “As we continue growing across the country, it’s franchise owners like Michael who bring our mission to life in their local communities. We’re proud to support the opening of this new location and look forward to the positive impact it will have in Springdale for years to come.”

Houston-based Christian Brothers Automotive has more than 335 locations in 31 states. It was founded in Mission Bend, Texas, in 1982.
