Powerhouse Price at $650,000

Bill Underwood, owner of Powerhouse Seafood restaurant in Fayetteville, says he’s asking $650,000 for the business. That doesn’t include the 10,000-SF building and two acres of land at the site.

Underwood says it cost about $900,000 to set the business up in the building, so he believes the price is fair.

“It’s a viable business,” he says, noting that sales increased 19 percent for Powerhouse in 1998 over 1997. Powerhouse had $1.3 million in sales in 1998, Underwood says.

Underwood says he’s talking with several potential buyers.

“I would naturally do a favorable lease for the buyer,” he adds.
