Circut City Gets High-Voltage Loan

Robert Wood, through his holding company WEC 99A-2 LLC, refinanced the Circuit City store at 744 E. Joyce Blvd. in Fayetteville on March 18 with a $3.3 million loan through Capital Leasing.

The 13,156-SF store was built in 1998 and appraised in 1999 for $970,000. The property includes 2.5 acres and a loading and shipping dock. It has more than 24,000 SF of parking space.

The store is in the Spring Creek Centre near the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

Wood, president of WEC and manager of Wolverine 99A-2 Inc., is leasing the property through Circuit City Stores Inc. of Virginia.
