Hank’s Discount Fine Furniture at 2407 S. Thompson St. in Springdale was mortgaged July 30 for $1.75 million.
The mortgage was issued to B & F Advertising Inc. of Little Rock from Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock. The loan was signed by Henry C. Browne as president of B & F Advertising.
Freight Sales Furniture bought the one-acre lot Feb. 24, 1988, for $113,000 from James E. and Pamela Evans. The company built the 21,744-SF building that year. The building was appraised in 1995 for $541,700.
Browne bought the chain of Freight Sales Furniture stores in 1995. Currently, he has 20 stores in three states.
