Tufco International Refinances Mortgage

Tufco International Inc. of Gentry received a $513,500 mortgage from Decatur State Bank on April 2.

The mortgage was signed by Brent E. Mills as chief financial officer for the company. The loan is secured with the company’s 15,000-SF warehouse at 12575 Pioneer Lane in Gentry and was a refinance of a previous loan.

Tufco is a wholesale distributor of industrial flooring products with 14 franchises, including three in Gentry. The company installs flooring in food processing plants and related businesses nationally and internationally. It is headquartered in Gentry and has been in business about 40 years. Annual revenue for the company and franchises exceeded $22 million last year.
