“The Van Dyke Center in Rogers is being financed with two mortgages totaling more than $1.8 million from First National Bank & Trust Co. of Rogers.

Both mortgages were issued April 28 and are secured with 38.5 acres at the corner of Arkansas Highway 102 and Dixieland Road, where the center is being built. All the money is designated for construction of the center.

One mortgage is for $1.75 million and the other is for $125,000. Both mortgages are signed by Brooke Van Dyke as president of V.C.C. Inc. and Maryanne Van Dyke, his wife, as secretary of the corporation. Also signing the mortgages were Stephen Lair, president of Petromark Inc., and Steven Turner, secretary of Petromark.

Construction of the center began last month. Plans include 24 commercial lots for a mixture of retail, restaurant and office space. Tenants already signed include Powerhouse Seafood restaurant and a car wash.
