Greenland Convenience Store Secures Loan

Coulson Properties Limited Partnership of North Little Rock, received an $800,000 loan from First Commercial Bank of Little Rock on March 25.

The loan is secured with the Shell Super Stop convenience store at 1039 N. Main St. in Greenland. The 1,500-SF building was built in 1984 and is on 3.06 acres of land. The mortgage was signed by Michael Coulson of Little Rock as a partner in Coulson Properties and Coulson, White, Coulson, a general partnership, of Little Rock.

The Coulson group owns other property in Northwest Arkansas under different corporate names. The Coulson Foundation owns a Road Runner convenience store at 1100 Thompson St. in Springdale. The foundation bought the business on June 1, 1986, for $325,000 from Arnold Truman.

Coulson Oil Co. of North Little Rock also owns 2.71 acres of vacant land in Fayetteville. The company bought the land Nov. 22, 1993, for $260,000 from Hoyet Greenwood. The land was appraised in 1995 for $260,000.
