Greenhouse Grille Expanding to Bentonville
We heard the owners of a popular Fayetteville restaurant are eager to expand and tap into the growing restaurant landscape in downtown Bentonville.
Clayton Suttle and Jerrmy Gawthrop, owners of Greenhouse Grille, are working to secure a location in the planned Midtown Center development, a new shopping and business center announced in October.
The project is at the northwest corner of the downtown square in Bentonville, and will be anchored by a 31,000-SF Walmart Neighborhood Market.
Greenhouse Grille opened Memorial Day 2006. Its revenue has jumped 31 percent since 2010, up to $1.18 million in 2012, according to tax receipts from the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission.
In the first six months of fiscal year 2013 — Fayetteville’s fiscal year runs December through November — the restaurant generated $0.56 million in revenue.
Its Bentonville location would, ironically, be the same spot where its food truck was launched three years ago, in the corner of the old Harps Food Store parking lot.
If all goes as planned, the restaurant would open in the last quarter of 2014.
