Lou Lou?s Suffers Bill Blahs

Just when one restaurant gets up and running, another one bites the dust.

We were fans of Lou Lou’s Fish Shack on North College, both for its “San Dee-ah-go” fish tacos and its contribution to infill. The menu may have had a sense of humor — the fish taco name is taken from the Will Farrell movie “Anchorman” — but apparently SWEPCO does not.

Lou Lou’s was closed recently and a notice posted on the door that the reason was for nonpayment of its electric bill.

The closure of Lou Lou’s is permanent, but the absence of a restaurant at the location is temporary. We hear a deal is pending to take over the space.
