Patrón isn’t just your special occasion tequila anymore.

We’d wondered what would become of the Fayetteville Fuddruckers, what with its garish yellow awnings that give each of the franchises a distinctive look.

A new Mexican restaurant, Patrón, has taken over the space and remodeling work is under way.

Not surprisingly, one of the first things workers have been doing is repainting those awnings a deep shade of red.

We hope Patrón fares better than Meaux Dad’s, which took over the closed O’Charley’s that was on the other side of CMN Business Park.
