We heard that Bill Agler’s last day as head pro at Stonebridge Meadows golf course in Fayetteville was Oct. 17. That’s because he’s taken the position of head pro at Fayetteville Country Club. Agler has filled the position that was left open by the sudden death of FCC pro Steve Arnold, who died of heart problems while on vacation in Las Vegas on Sept. 8. Arnold had been the head pro at FCC since 1985.
