Restaurant Operator Buys Goldie’s Building

Robert Douglas Hale Maritan bought the building that houses Goldie’s Patio Grill in Rogers on April 1.
Maritan bought the building at 2709 W. Walnut St. from Lowell Kelsey of Matoon, Ill., for $433,923. Kelsey gave Maritan a mortgage to finance the purchase. Maritan had been leasing the building with an option to purchase.
Maritan owns the franchise rights to two Goldie’s restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. He opened the first restaurant at 3251 N. College. Ave. in Fayetteville in 1987 and the Rogers restaurant in November 1995.
