Krispy Kreme Coming

The doughnut place Jimmy Buffet liked so much he put it in a song is finally coming to Arkansas.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has plans to put in a franchise in Bentonville, although a spokesperson for the company said no further information is available at this time.

Krispy Kreme has been around since 1937 and is in all but 18 contiguous states. Arkansas and New Mexico are the only states south of Wyoming without a Krispy Kreme shop. The doughnuts are also sold in supermarkets, convenience stores and other retail outlets around the country.

Currently, the closest Krispy Kreme to the area is in Kansas City.
