Hopeful brides in Northwest Arkansas save their wedding day memories in a different light with Hudson Photography. Shooting only black and white photos, owner Jason Hudson uses his camera to capture a “timeless, classical look” for the grand event.

Hudson said he strives to produce creative, unique and interesting photos, by taking candid, “photo-journalistic” pictures. Aside from weddings, Hudson also takes photos of other events, and he enjoys photographing babies.

“I love photographing people and capturing their personality to be documented on paper forever,” Hudson said.

The Hudson Photography studio includes a portrait area and a complete dark room for processing and printing. Hudson’s wife Lena and local photographer Curtis Neely help Hudson to cover large events such as weddings or engagement parties.

Although Hudson Photography specializes in wedding photography, Hudson himself has experience in several areas of the profession. Fashion photography and posed studio portraits gave Hudson some of his first exposure to film, but hundreds of rolls of practice have helped him develop the most.
