Deborah Marie McQuietor

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Deborah Marie McQuietor, 67, of Alma, Arkansas. She passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home. Deborah was born on October 24, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Robert and Ruth (Holie) Whitney. She was also preceded in death by Robert Whitney, Sr., Micheal Whitney, Ronald Whitney, Arthur Whitney, Lionel Whitney, Janice Whitney, and Cynthia Whitney.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Ocker Chapel of Alma with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at Ocker Chapel of Alma, located at 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, Arkansas 72921.

Deborah is deeply mourned by her husband, Eugene McQuietor of Alma; three sons, Dwayne Whitney of Alma, Arkansas, Corey Whitney of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Eugene Whitney, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Johnson (Lawrence) and Lois Anderson (Arthur); as well as nieces, Sabrina Dupart, Shawnette Whitney, and Anita Whitney; and nephews, Kevin Whitney, Ronald Whitney, and Jerome Whitney.

Deborah was an entrepreneur and an amazing cook. She was a loving, very open-hearted and prideful woman, as strong as they come. Deborah will be missed, not only by her family, but by all who knew her.
