Lavern Neal “Buddy” Burrows

Lavern Neal “Buddy” Burrows, 90, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed Thursday, November 13, 2025 in his home. He was born October 25, 1935 in Hartford, Arkansas to Richard Kimsey and Annie Mae (Brown) Burrows. He was raised in the Hartford and Mansfield area, where he attended church at West Hartford Baptist Church. He was a retired 22-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and owner of Barksdale Upholstery and Trim.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Burrows; three daughters, Cheryl, Donna and Melinda; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer, Ezra, Clyde and Ray Burrows and a sister, Laura Inez Pugh.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 17 at James Fork Baptist Church with burial with military honors at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2- 4 p.m.
