Carolyn Kay Pinkerton

Carolyn Kay Pinkerton of Van Buren, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 surrounded by family. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Donald Kay Pinkerton, her daughter Deborah Kay Shelton, her parents, James, David and Marguerite (Cornett) Bryant, one sister Carmel Kattich, one brother Arlie Clayton Bryant.

She is survived by one son, James Douglas Pinkerton and wife Kim, one sister, Clarice Workman and husband, Mike, one brother-in-law, Bob Pinkerton and wife Frankie and son-in-law Steve Shelton, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker funeral home in Van Buren. No formal service will be held at this time. The family will hold a small memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a cancer foundation.
