Cathryn “Cat” Lue Fulbright, age 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at Covington Nursing Home.

Cat was born on December 15, 1944, in Alma, Arkansas, to Robert and Vetta (Guinn) Taylor. She grew up with a strong sense of family and graduated as a proud Lincoln alumna. For several years, she worked as a surgical technician before beginning her career at Whirlpool, where she retired after 18 years of dedicated service.

Cat’s vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. She loved watching westerns, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and nearly any sport. She especially enjoyed playing dominoes and spades, where her quick wit and humor always kept the game lively. She will be remembered as a woman of sass, humor, and love; a friend to all who crossed her path. She never met a stranger, and her warmth and laughter left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her four children: Andrea Collier of Fort Smith, AR; Sondra Taylor of Nashville, TN; Karen Taylor of Fort Smith, AR; and Thomas Christian of Nashville, TN. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Anesha, Tramaine, Lamessia, Erica, Ashley, Joshua, Destiny, Aradia, Kaden, and Jaylen; along with thirteen great-grandchildren: Ja`Cory, Ja`ya, Zae, Eniya, MJ, Trey, India, Kiyah, Monty, Zion, Semaj, Lucero, Liandel; and six great-great-grandchildren: Dior, Paris, Elani, Onyx, Paislee, Richie. Cat is also survived by her sister, Arcy Lee Scales; her niece Soniquea; great-nieces Lania and Nadia; and great-nephew Frank.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vetta Taylor; her son, James Taylor; and her sister, Connie LaRue Washington.

There will be no services at this time, cremation under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
