Edna Faye English

Edna Faye English, 92, of Roland, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born February 2, 1933 in Kerens, TX to the late Vernie and Annie (Motley) Jackson. She was retired from Whirlpool.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Kay Johnson; a sister, Verna Mae Smith; three brothers, Ben, James, and Kenneth Jackson; two granddaughters, Kimberly Vaughan and Skye English; and a son-in-law, Rick Vaughan.

She is survived by her husband, Jack English of the home; a daughter, Margie Vaughan of Muldrow; a son, Jackie English and wife Laura of Roland; a son-in-law, Zeke Johnson of Roland; two sisters, Thelma Gaylor of Lebanon, Ohio, and Margie Keeton of Oregonian, Ohio; and a brother, Danny Jackson of Cedarville; seven grandchildren, Tracy Brackett, Ash Vaughan, Amy Johnson, Rachel McGinthia, Nicole English, Nicholas English, and Violet English; ten great-grandchildren, Cory Brackett, Courtney Brackett, Grant Vaughan, Blake Vaughan, Nevaeh Vaughan, Kailey Orr, Garrett McGinthia, Zoe McGinthia, Ivy Tuck, and Kain Tuck; two great-great-grandchildren, Silas Orr and Teegan Hance; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Dora Assembly of God with interment to follow at Dora Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas English, Ash Vaughan, Blake Vaughan, Grant Vaughan, Dennis Johnson, James McGinthia, and Garrett McGinthia.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2025, at Dora Assembly of God at 4322 Dora Road, Van Buren.
