Conway-based Centennial Bank announced Monday (June 17) its mobile app users and clients will now have access to a mobile banking app called Zelle.

“Centennial Bank is focused on our customers and dedicated to meeting their expectations. By adding Zelle, we are providing another convenience to our customers banking experience,” Tracy French, president and CEO of Centennial Bank, said in a statement.

Bank officials said the Zelle experience is a fast and easy way to send money directly from one bank account in the U.S. to another typically within minutes when both parties are already enrolled.

The app is already being used by more than 100 million consumers via mobile banking applications, with no additional downloads required. Bank officials said on average 100,000 people a day are enrolling with Zelle. Last year, Americans sent $119 billion using Zelle, according to a news release.

Shares of the bank’s holding company Home BancShares (NASDAQ: HOMB) finished trading Monday at $18.38. The share price has ranged in the past 52 weeks between $24.56 and $15.35.
