Safe Foods Corp. announced Wednesday (Jan. 2) the promotion of Kelly Conley to chief financial officer, effective immediately. Conley joined the privately held North Little Rock company one year ago as director of finance. Before that, he worked closely with Safe Foods as a senior financial analyst with a consulting company.

“Kelly’s vast experience and long relationship with Safe Foods is a tremendous asset for us as we look toward the future,” said Chris Coleman, CEO of Safe Foods.

Conley will be responsible for the finance, accounting, legal, and human resources aspects of Safe Foods.

Conley’s promotion comes as Safe Foods continues its growth as a global food safety company. Beginning its 20th year of operations, Safe Foods serves food processors across the United States and in nine countries, protecting over 250 million servings of food every day. Safe Foods is also nearing the completion of its new headquarters and innovation center in North Little Rock, which will aid continued growth.

In November 2017, Safe Foods purchased a 120,000-square-foot building on 22 acres at 1301 E. 8th St. in North Little Rock. Renovations have been ongoing and the new facility is expected to open in the first quarter of 2019.

Safe Foods employs 110 people at offices in North Little Rock and Rogers.
