Brenda Sue Johnson

Brenda Sue Johnson, who resided near Branch, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 3, 1942, in Port Hueneme, California, to the late Vance David Graham and Katy Eileen (Nelson) Graham. She was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Chuck Johnson; and a brother, David Graham, Jr.

In 1974, Brenda along with her husband Chuck, owned and operated Chuck’s Garage & Body Shop on Highway 41 south of Branch. Together they enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and were members of the Good Ole Boy’s Car Club. Brenda loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Chapel Cemetery, located south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by two daughters, Marian Dow and husband Louis of Charleston and Sherry Johnson of Coal Hill; a son, Allen Johnson of Paris; (7) grandchildren; (17) great-grandchildren; and (2) great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Allen Johnson, Sherry Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Daniel Johnson, and Alanna Cantrell.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
