Norman Dean Woodruff, age 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on June 9, 2026. He was born November 17, 1933 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to O.M. and Eulema Buckner Woodruff.

Norman was a fun-loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Immaculate Conception in Fort Smith.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, O.M. and Eulema Woodruff; sister, Barbara Weeks and her husband Harold; and his nephew’s wife, Linda Weeks.

Those left to honor his memory are his nephews, Rodney Weeks, Jerry Weeks and wife Diane, and Mike Weeks and wife Jana; his lifelong friend and business partner of over 60 years, Dale Snell; his great-nieces and nephew, Pam, Tiffany, Penny, Heather, and Heath; as well as 13 great-great nieces and nephews and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Brooken Hill Health and Rehab for the excellent care and compassion they provided to Norman in his final months.

Pallbearers will be Malachi Walker, Heath Weeks, Braden Meador, Braxton Meador, Brad Meador, Greenfield Baggett III, and Greenfield Baggett IV.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:00 am at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Visitation will begin an hour prior at 10:00 am. Following the service, Norman will be laid to rest at Cemetery Ridge south of Ozark, Arkansas.
