Floyd Gordon Bradford

Floyd Gordon Bradford, age 89, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away in the comfort of his home on June 16, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1937, in McRoberts, Kentucky to Floyd Joshua Bradford and Josephine Elizabeth Hensley Bradford. He grew up in California and attended San Juan High School in Citrus Heights.

Floyd was a hardworking and entrepreneurial man who spent much of his career in construction. He was the owner of Globe TV Antenna in San Diego, California; and he owned and operated a construction company in the Fort Smith area.

On September 3, 1993, Floyd married his beloved wife, Loretta Rose Bradford. Together they shared 32 years of companionship, love, and cherished memories. Floyd was a faithful believer in the Pentecostal tradition. He lived his life with a strong faith in God and found comfort in prayer, worship, and the promises of his faith. His spiritual devotion remained a steadfast source of strength throughout his life.

Floyd enjoyed painting and collecting coins. He was especially grateful for the time he spent with family and friends, whose company brought him lasting happiness.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Loretta Rose Bradford; his children, Phillip and wife Paulina, Paul and wife Becky, Marc and wife Andrea, and Adina Montgomery; daughter-in-law, Glenda, wife to David; his stepchildren, Melanie Calzavara and Debra Edgemon; eight grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Joyce Hilton, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Joshua Bradford and Josephine Elizabeth Bradford; his son, David Bradford; and his brothers, Daniel Bradford and Jerry Bradford.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at The Pentecostal Church. The funeral service is to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a cancer research organization of the donor’s choice.
