Bennie Frank Magby, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Monday, June 8, 2026, in Paris, Arkansas. He was born on March 7, 1942, in Hartman, Arkansas, to the late William Lee Magby and Vera Christine (Stone) Magby. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Janice (Holman) Magby; and a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Robberson.

After 31 years, Bennie retired from Rheem Manufacturing Company in Fort Smith. He was a graduate of County Line High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Bennie will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 12th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Bill Culver officiating. Burial will follow at Potts Cemetery, located south of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his son, Mike Magby and wife Renea of Charleston; a sister, Rebecca Cass and husband Ron of Lavaca; two brothers, Robert Magby and wife Vera of Branch and Howard Magby and wife Ellen of Pocola, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Chelsea Robberson and husband John of Paris and Shayla Johnson of Charleston; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan Robberson, Faith Robberson, Sawyer Johnson, and Memphis Johnson.

Pallbearers are Gary Magby, Brandon Magby, Mike Haynes, Mike Bangs, Butch Bradley, and John Robberson.

Honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends on Friday morning an hour prior to the funeral service.
