The Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE) invested more than $495,000 in area artists and arts organizations in 2025, according to its new annual report.

The report shows that CACHE is expanding its role as a driver of the region’s creative economy — supporting artists and arts organizations through funding, access to space, partnerships and professional opportunities.

A key driver of the impact is The Medium, CACHE’s multiuse creative space, which continued to grow in attendance and programs in 2025. The venue hosted various performances, rehearsals, exhibitions and community events, providing space for artists and organizations across disciplines.

“The number of people we saw in our building this year broke last year’s record by 7,000,” said Kevin Nguyen, facility and production manager at The Medium. “We are excited for the growth that lies ahead, for our audience as well as our ability to host events and provide space for artists and organizations.”

CACHE also expanded its Creative Exchange Fund, which supports artists through project funding, space, residence and curatorial opportunities. In 2025, the number of recipients increased from 32 to 37.

“As an intermediary arts organization, our role is to ensure creatives have the resources, space and support they need to thrive,” said Kelsey Howard, executive director of CACHE. “We’re building a stronger, more connected arts community that supports artists while contributing to the overall vitality and growth of Northwest Arkansas.”

Other 2025 highlights included expanded funding opportunities for artists and new initiatives designed to support collaboration and creative experimentation. CACHE programs include The Medium, the Artists Creative Fund, the Creative Exchange Fund, Table Talks, Year of Learning and Outreach (YOLO) and Social Hour.

According to IRS records, CACHE’s revenue fell by 10.26% to $2.45 million in 2024 from $2.73 million in 2023. Revenue in 2024 was also down from $3.73 million in 2022. The newest report available from the IRS is the 2024 report.
