Colliers Arkansas names new shareholders

Colliers | Arkansas announced the addition of two new shareholders, Shelby Carey and Angie Young, effective March 1, 2026.

Carey, director of lease administration, first joined Colliers in 2010 as an administrative assistant. Over the course of her career, Carey has held several roles at Colliers, including assistant property manager, property manager, executive property manager and director of lease administration.

Carey has served as president of the Arkansas Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 2017 and again from 2020 – 2021 and served nationally as an IREM regional vice president. She also served as vice chair of the organization’s Ethics Committee and currently serves as chair of its Ethics Appeal Board. Among her many professional recognitions, Carey was named CPM Candidate of the Year from 2012 to 2014 and CPM of the Year in 2015.

Young, executive portfolio manager, joined Colliers in June 2018 as an assistant property manager. Since then, she has steadily advanced through the property management division as property manager, senior property manager, and senior property manager – lead before being promoted to executive portfolio manager in October 2025.

Young has been recognized by industry peers in Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Little Rock (BOMA) for her leadership and performance, receiving Assistant Property Manager of the Year in 2019, Principal Rising Star in 2023 and Principal Member of the Year in 2024. She is currently treasurer and chair of the organization’s finance committee.
