Concepcion Canenguez

Concepcion Canenguez, 82, passed away on Thursday January 29, 2026 in Fort Smith. She was born June 5, 1943 in El Salvador to Francisco Carranza and Luz Canenguez. She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro Gomez and one son, Ricardo Zepeda.

She is survived by five daughters, Ana Gomez of San Jose, CA, Marlene Figueroa of Fort Smith, Reyna Gomez of Lancaster, CA, Flor Martinez of Fort Smith and Maria Zepeda of Fort Smith; one five sisters and four brothers; fourteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday February 7, 2026 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oak Cemetery. The wake service will be Friday February 6, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Fort Smith, AR 72901.

Pallbearers will be Wilber, Gredy and Jonathan Zepeda, Eric Figueroa, Joe Azucena and Josue Pineda.
