Hubert Wayne Weldon

Hubert Wayne Weldon, 81, of Fort Smith went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 14, 2026 in a local hospital. He was born December 24, 1944 in Fort Smith to Hubert and Myrtle (Bingham) Weldon. He was the owner and operator of Park Hill Realty, a home building contractor and an insurance agent. Wayne was a member of the Rye Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran, and an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter Angie Weldon of Fort Smith; one son Hubert Wayne “Grav” Weldon and his partner Kat Robinson of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Kim Bishop and her husband Bob of Fayetteville; one step-son, James Ross of Bentonville; two grandchildren, Hunter Robinson and Jonathan Hanna; six step-grandchildren, Charisma Holder, Jonathan, Magan, Parker and Carley Ross, and Hunter Anderson; two great-grandchildren; uncle in law, Edward Bryant; and a niece, Gwen Caldwell.

Funeral service will be 11:30 AM Thursday January 22, 2026 at Rye Hill Baptist Church with burial with military honors at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hanna, James Harold Ross, Larry Hickman, Jim Shepard, Matt Shepard, Thad Shepard, and Will Shepard. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Wayne’s Sunday school Class at Rye Hill Baptist Church.

The Family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Road Fort Smith, AR 72901.
