Amber Singleton has been hired as the newest executive director of Arkansas Right to Life. She succeeds Rose Mimms, who led Arkansas Right to Life for more than 30 years. Mimms retired Dec. 31, 2025 after announcing her plans to retire last May.
Singleton was selected by an unanimous vote by the organization’s board of directors, according to a press release. She is a mother of nine and a member of the board of directors of Cornerstone Clinic for Women in Little Rock, where her husband, Ken, is a physician.
“Rose was a transformative leader of Arkansas Right to Life, and was key to making Arkansas a leader in the pro-life movement,” said Dr. Sharai Amaya, board president of Arkansas Right to Life. “Her tireless efforts over the years culminated helping pass many pro-life laws and Arkansas being named the No. 1 Pro-Life State in the Nation for six consecutive years beginning in 2020.”
“The Arkansas Right to Life Board of Directors is confident Amber Singleton will faithfully build on Rose’s legacy to keep Arkansas a leading proponent of life,” Amaya added.
