Cecilia Verlene Sammons (Cooper)

Cecilia Sammons, 80 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 in her home. She was a member of Spradling Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Sammons; her parents John and Mary (Gallamore) Cooper.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years Billy Sammons of the home; one son Phillip Craig Sammons of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation arrangement are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. No service will be held at this time.
