Linda June Martindale

Linda June Martindale, 77 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 in her home. She was a retired accountant at Simmons Foods and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren. She is preceded in death by her parents Arville Howe and Mary Magdalene (Wiley) Martindale, one brother Billy Mansker and her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanna Symonds and husband David of Van Buren; two sons Micheal Howe Burkhart of Raleigh, North Carolina and Shannon David Burkhart and wife Mitzi of Fort Smith; one sister Janis Breeden and husband Donnie of Van Buren; six grandchildren Benjamin, Matthew and Sarah Burkhart all of North Carolina; Whitney Sisney of Van Buren, Morgan Tudor of Oklahoma and Joel Burkhart of Colorado; two great-grandchildren Christian & Beau Sisney; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1PM, Monday June 23, 2025 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at White Bluff Cemetery north of Bonanza, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Family will visit with relatives and friends from 12 (Noon) till 1:00 PM Monday prior to the service.
