Sandra Ann Norrid

Sandra Ann Norrid, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Little Rock, AR. She was born on April 14, 1952, in Fort Smith, AR to Henry and Ella Mae Ledford.

Sandra was a business owner, an executive assistant at Jones Oil Company, and a member of Community Bible Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ella Mae; In-laws, Jack and Delcie Norrid; and sister-in-law’s, Janet Ledford and Brenda Norrid.

She is survived by her husband, James Norrid of Fort Smith; a daughter, Nancy Ann Copeland and her husband, Aaron, of Springdale, AR; a son, James Jeffery Norrid and his wife, Courtney, of Durham, NC; a sister, Karen Couch and her husband, Mike, of Lowell, AR; a brother, Mike Ledford of Fort Smith, AR; two grandchildren, Aidan and Evan Copeland; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jeff Norrid, Mike Ledford, Aaron Copeland, John Couch, Zach Ledford, Austin Mendenhall, Brandon Benish, and Jason Bohannon. Honorary pallbearers are Aidan and Evan Copeland.

Funeral services are at 1:00PM Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oak Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Wednesday, April 30, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society in memory of Sandra Norrid.
